Welcome to Loot & Lattes

Updated: 5 days ago

There are numerous places to purchase games.

There are fewer places where the space invites play, the community invites belonging, and connection happens naturally among like-minded folks.

Loot & Lattes was created because we believe games deserve more than folding chairs, poor lighting, and hurried conversations.

They deserve space.

Care.

Time.

And people who are genuinely pleased to see you.

These aren’t abstract ideas. They’re observations shaped by years of watching tables fill and empty, game nights spark and stall, and people quietly drift away, not because they stopped caring, but because the space, the time, or the people were just a little too hard to line up.

When the experience isn’t supported with intention, people never quite settle in.

When the table doesn’t feel welcoming, connection waits at the edges.

When time isn’t given generously, stories don’t get the chance to unfold.

We wanted to create a place where the table is ready for you—before the first card is drawn or the first die is rolled.

A Space Designed for Play

Every table at Loot & Lattes is intentionally arranged, not just in size, but in spacing, sightlines, and lighting. These small, human details signal to your body that it’s okay to linger.

We designed our space to support different ways people play, create, and connect. A large, open room invites social play and shared energy—tables where laughter carries, new games are discovered, and familiar faces become friends. Just beyond that, a smaller breakaway room offers privacy and focus, a place for deeper stories, quieter campaigns, or groups that want their own corner of the world for a while. Our retail area remains separate, so browsing never interrupts play, and play never feels on display.

We’ve also set aside a dedicated room for those who want to create, whether that’s recording a video blog, opening TCG packs, hosting an interview, or sharing their love of games in their own voice. It’s a space designed to feel supported and intentional, so creativity can happen without distraction or pressure.

When people feel at ease, they engage more.

They listen more attentively.

They interrupt less.

They play better—together.

That doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when a space quietly gives you permission to be yourself without apology.

Games Bring People Together — If We Let Them

We are game-agnostic by design. Whether you’re here for a board game, a TTRPG session, a card match, a painting table, creating content, or simply a quiet coffee while watching others play, you belong here.

Some people come to be social.

Some come to focus.

Some come to learn.

Some come to share what they love with a wider audience.

Our spaces—and the way we staff them—are built to support all of those reasons without asking anyone to justify how they show up.

You don’t need to be an expert.

You don’t need the “right” deck.

You don’t need to know anyone at the table beforehand.

Loot & Lattes is for the person who hasn’t played in years and wants to try again.

For the regular who knows every rule and still teaches patiently.

For the group that needs room to settle in, unhurried and uninterrupted.

For the creator who wants a place that supports their voice without putting them on display.

Games bring people together but only when the environment, the pace, and the people around the table allow it to happen naturally.

Hospitality, Not Just Retail

Yes, we sell games.

Yes, we serve coffee.

But what we truly offer is hospitality—experienced through care, clarity, and intention.

That means clean tables and well-kept spaces.

Comfortable seating that invites you to stay.

Layouts that respect focus, privacy, and shared energy.

Clear expectations that help everyone feel at ease.

And it means a staff that understands they are not just processing transactions—they are caretakers of the experience.

Our role is to notice when a table needs support, when a group needs space, when someone needs help finding their footing. To step in when asked, and step back when not. To help the room feel held, without ever feeling managed.

It means respecting personal space.

It means maintaining an environment that feels welcoming to everyone who walks through the door.

It means recognizing that small details—lighting, pacing, cleanliness, and basic hygiene—shape how safe and relaxed people feel long before anyone says hello.

These things matter.

Quietly.

Constantly.

Built for the Community We Want to Be Part Of

Loot & Lattes isn’t trying to be the loudest game store or the trendiest café. We’re building the kind of place we wish existed more often, one that makes it easier to gather, easier to stay, and easier to come back.

A place where game nights end in laughter instead of exhaustion.

Where stories get finished.

Where creativity is supported.

Where new groups form naturally—without pressure or performance.

If you’ve ever left a game night thinking, “That could have been great if…”—this space was built with you in mind.

We’re glad you’re here.

Pull up a chair.

Stay a while.

Welcome to Loot & Lattes.

See you at the table.
